How your wallet works
GetYourSats is your Bitcoin wallet. Spark provides the underlying Bitcoin balance infrastructure and Lightning connects you to compatible wallets and merchants.
Bitcoin deposits are credited to your GetYourSats balance through Spark. This is not a separate Bitcoin UTXO wallet. Confirmations and claim fees may apply.
For USDT or USDC routes, check the token, network, required deposit, costs and expected output. The quote tells you which asset your wallet will receive.
Keep the recovery method for this exact wallet safe. Support cannot recreate lost keys. Check payment history before retrying a payment with an uncertain outcome.

Technical wallet help (English)
Security first: We will never ask for a seed phrase, private key, passkey recovery data or wallet PIN. Never paste recovery words into an email, Telegram message or support form.
Passkeys and wallet access
On a new device, use the wallet's Restore option to look for a synced passkey or to restore with your handwritten recovery phrase. Do not create a new wallet if you are trying to access existing funds. Passkey availability depends on your device, browser, password manager and the wallet's approved website origin.
Lightning payments
Check the app's payment history and payment details first. Lightning transfers can depend on recipient availability and network conditions. Do not repeat a payment while its final status remains uncertain; share only non-secret invoice/payment identifiers when contacting support.
Merchant Point of Sale
Check that the receiving wallet SDK confirms an incoming payment before handing over goods or services. A displayed QR code or payer screenshot is not settlement confirmation.
Email and personal Lightning addresses
Optional email verification and personalised addresses may require additional activation steps. A GetYourSats email or username is not a replacement for self-custodial wallet recovery.
What helps us investigate?
Tell us your device/browser, the wallet website URL, approximate time, non-sensitive error message and whether you were creating, restoring, sending or receiving. Do not send seed phrases or keys. For a privacy/data request, see our privacy notice.
